KOM/QOM (Expanded) Challenges
The LVC now includes a King of the Mountain and Queen of the Mountain Challenge for the Century, Metric, and Scenic routes. There are 24 categories total. Each category’s winner will receive a prize.
Strava will be used to record and evaluate results. No extra registration or fee is required. Registered riders that wish to participate must have a Strava account (free) and upload their ride by 1pm, 2pm, or 3pm (42, 62, and 100 mile routes respectively) to be scored and included in the KOM/QOM Challenges.
Post-ride, make sure you bring your Garmin or other GPS and/or distance gauging device with proof of your ride to the challenge tent to get credit towards the challenge.
